In Luhansk region miners protesting underground for 13 days Featured

As for today morning, 15 miners of mine named after G.G. Kapustin PJSC " Lisichanskvugillia" (Pryvillia town, Luhansk region) are still protesting underground. It’s a 13 day of their underground protest. Miners demand the payment of wages for the period from June to September 2018 and for some months of 2015-2017 years. Yesterday miners’ protests over unpaid wages were held in Lysychansk (Luhansk region) and Novovolynsk (Volyn region). The representatives of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine stage solidarity action in Kryvyi Rih. The miners of mine named after G.G. Kapustin and the NPGU received solidarity letters from IndustriAll Global Union and trade union organization from different countries.

Despite of rockslide and dangerous conditions miners protesting for 11 days underground Featured

The Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Ukraine (KVPU) and its branch organization the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine (NPGU) are deeply concerned about the situation of the state-owned PJSC "Lysychanskvugillia" (Luhansk region) where miners have been protesting since 19th of October.

Miners continuing protest against unpaid wages in Donetsk region Featured

Today morning, miners of the coal mine ‘Kotlyarevska’ of the state-owned enterprise "Selidovugillia" (Donetsk region) have started to block the highway Dnipro – Donetsk again. They have been holding such kind of protest for three days straight.
Miners of the mine ‘Kotlyarevskaya’ have begun to hold this protest on 3 October. According to the Chairperson of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine Mykhailo Volynets, miners have to start road blocking, because their previous three-day protest against unpaid wages didn’t bring any result.

Miners blocking the road in Donetsk region Featured

Miners of the mine ‘Kotlyarevskaya’ of the state-owned enterprise "Selidovugillia" (Donetsk region), have been blocking traffic on the Dnipro-Donetsk highway in the  Pisky and Krasnogorivka direction since 3 October. According to the Chairperson of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine Mykhailo Volynets, miners have to hold such type of protest, because their previous three-day protest against unpaid wages didn’t bring any result.

Miners start protest over unpaid wages in Donetsk region Featured

Today miners of the first shift of three mines of the State-owned Enterprise "Mirnogradvugillya" had stopped work and massively moved in the direction of the administrative building of their state-owned enterprise. The Chairman of the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Ukraine and the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine Mykhaylo Volynets informed that in such way miners protest against the non-payment of wages.
